Chronic is a comedy-drama about a young woman unwilling to adapt to the realities of a recent brain injury when her friends insist she comes out for a birthday party. After reinjuring herself, she goes to a chronic pain support group, where she takes the first step toward accepting her new life.
Based on a true story, today's recommended read is actually a recommended watch. This 10-minute short film can be viewed on YouTube and follows the story of a young woman, learning to live with chronic pain and finding the support to adapt to this new life of hers.
