A fire, due to arson, has devastated our community studio as well as several of the apartments in the surrounding area. Right now, we’ve no idea how long or costly this setback will be.
Our friend Jenel in Winnipeg is going through an enormous challenge as a result of a fire that devastated her community organization. Thankfully, there were no injuries or loss of life, but the damage to this not-for-profit in the heart of downtown Winnipeg is extensive.
This incident has dealt a severe blow to their mission, impacting not only the physical space but also their ability to generate crucial revenue through classes, workshops, and studio and gallery rentals.
In an effort to help them through this challenging time, we're reaching out to our community for support. Your generosity can make a significant difference in rebuilding the Edge Gallery and restoring the vibrant artistic hub in their community.
If you're able to offer financial support, a member of the Edge's board has set up a GoFundMe where you can make a donation. Another way you can help is by sharing their fundraiser on your socials! Use the following link to direct people to their page: https://gofund.me/07cc5273
