"Empty Rooms" is an exhibit by Omar Sherif, known artistically as WeirDo, that explores the theme of isolation experienced by people with disabilities.

It's an incredibly interesting exhibition that features vibrant, eye-catching paintings that allude to darker themes of loneliness, absurdism, and rebellion, marked in the paintings by anarchy symbols.

The open-plan installation where the paintings are set up purposefully resemble childhood bedrooms, with figurines and old television screens amidst the paintings, creating a welcoming atmosphere.

WeirDo's style is unorthodox in the Egyptian contemporary art scene, using demonic figures to represent his struggle against societal norms. The artist does this intentionally, in an effort to critique the lack of accommodations for disabled individuals.

The exhibit serves as an important addition to the Egyptian contemporary fine arts scene.
