Opening a week from today in New Jersey, "Smoke & Mirrors" is a major exhibition that features the work of 14 disabled artists from across the globe.

Organized by guest curator Dr. Amanda Cachia, a prominent disability arts activist and scholar, this unprecedented exhibition showcases work by artists with disabilities who are underrepresented in museums.

"Smoke & Mirrors" aims to challenge traditional notions of accessibility and spectatorship in art spaces. It also encourages disabled patrons and their allies to become active participants in telling their own stories.

Notable works include JJJJJerome Ellis's videos on Black resistance and speech impediments, Corban Walker's space-rerouting stanchions, and Finnegan Shannon's accessible chairs.
