If you're not familiar with the Disability Screen Office, they are an amazing, disability-led nonprofit making waves in the Canadian screen industry.
Their mission? To break down accessibility barriers and ensure genuine, meaningful representation of disability everywhere.
In the very near future, they will be launching The Industry Resource Hub.
This Hub will offer a variety of accessibility and disability-related resources for professionals and new entrants in the Canadian screen industry, including:
- listings for accessible filming, production, and screening venues
- accessibility service providers (e.g. ASL/LSQ interpreters, accessibility consultants
- non-profit/advocacy organizations that support disabled artists
- agents and managers who have disabled talent on their rosters
Users will be able to search by industry role, service type, disability category, region/province, language, and more.
If you’d like to be featured, submit your product, service, venue, resource, or other information for inclusion in the Hub using the link below.
There is no cost to submit!
