VocalEye provides greater access to theatre, arts, and cultural events for people of all ages who are blind and partially sighted. Since 2009, VocalEye has described hundreds of live events, including theatre performances, dance, opera, parades, fireworks, and public art tours.
Recent additions to their programming include Notable Social community gatherings, Almost Live Zoom accessible arts adventures, online Describer Café professional development forums, and Sighted Guide training workshops for the public.
VocalEye programs and services are offered free of charge and are designed to improve accessibility, encourage participation and engagement in the arts, and enhance and prioritize the experience of blind and partially sighted people, in person and online.
